Understanding Sacrifice

Matthew 16:25 Jesus said, “Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.”

Elisha's calling by Elijah is a great example of sacrifice and it prompted Elijah to make a bold sacrifice. He killed his oxen, feeding the people, and burned his plowing equipment, signifying a complete break from his past. This decisive act showcases Elisha's devotion to God and highlights the importance of self-denial in following Him.

My prayer for you today is that you understand the sacrifice that was made for you.
