Luke 5:8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”

It is common to feel unworthy of being in Jesus' presence, which can be discouraging for some individuals and may prevent them from seeking repentance due to feelings of being too far gone. However, let's consider an alternative perspective: recognizing your unworthiness and acknowledging the need for change demonstrates that there is still hope for you. When Peter recognized Jesus' presence, he immediately fell at His feet, feeling unworthy. Jesus' response is particularly encouraging, as He prioritizes Peter's heart over his failures. Rather than acknowledging Peter's request to leave, Jesus offers him reassurance with an invitation to follow Him and become a fisher of men. Essentially, Jesus says that your sins are forgiven, and He desires to utilize you. Jesus is enough!

My prayer for you today is that you understand that the Lord is faithful not just today but always.
