Slow Down

Isaiah 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

I remember when I first gave my life to Jesus, I was still struggling with sinful behaviors. But as I look back, I realize that God was already at work in me, gradually changing my heart and helping me to see the error of my ways. At first, I didn't notice the subtle shift from blatant sin to a desire to hide my wrongdoing, but it was a crucial step in my journey towards repentance and healing. Isaiah's words remind us that God is always doing something new, even when our surroundings seem barren. A closer look can reveal surprising signs of life, demonstrating God's unwavering creative power.
