Embrace the Holy Spirit

2 Timothy 1:7 The Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

When something bad comes on tv especially if my son is watching I make sure I switch it as fast as I can. This world tries to instill fear into us to control us. The make sure to remind us of all the problems going on in the world. We can't switch off the world's problems, but we can switch our worries into prayers . Surrounding ourselves with God's word helps us remember His power and control, changing our outlook and giving us peace of mind.

My prayer for you today is that you embrace the Holy Spirit and not this world.
